I have worked as Vista's Library/Computer Lab Tech for the past 5 years. This year I am teaching 7th grade Tech in addition to managing the library and computer lab and developing activities and projects for students. I taught 8th grade English at Vista for one year. Before I came to our school I was a newspaper reporter for The Orange County Register . I have a B.A. degree in Journalism from California State University, Long Beach. I hold a substitute teaching credential and I was selected by SBCEO as a presenter in the 2010 Classroom Technology Showcase . I enjoy helping students develop reading, writing, technology and critical thinking skills. I love reading and I am an enthusiastic lifelong learner - pursuing knowledge and skills in many areas of interest.  When I am not at school I enjoy spending time at the beach with my famliy.
